jeb:
I gotta' say, the "complications" column in that spreadsheet is scaring the heck out of me. Seems like a LOT of possibly permanent nerve damage has resulted from this surgery.

Brian J:
Jeb -- I don't think that anyone so far has complained of permanent nerve damage.  In people in whom it occurs, it usually heals within a few months.  Usually it is a relatively minor complication.

Bob77:
Brian. Based on what Jeb has stated, maybe we can add a column that states whether the complication has been resolved and when it was resolved. Not an exact date, but 8 weeks, 2 months, 6 months, etc.

Jeb. I don't think alot of these nerve problems are permanent. I know on Topix, there have been many people who have written that their numbness gradually went away.

For me, the numbness is gone. My repaired arm is still not the same as my other arm, but I expect it will be.
