trelos:
First of all sorry for my english. ;D
Im 29 and this is the 21st year of been an athlete, and the last 12 years im a natural bodybuilder.why i say all that just so u know a bit of my past in case u can help me a bit cause im from greece and i cant find a proper doctor to help me with this situation.. At 04/02/2012 i made my distal bicep tendon surgery and they said it goes really good i can move my fingers 7 seven hours late and my palm. At 23 of the same month i cut my stiches they say to me the wound is really good, though the only advice i hear from everyone is that i need to keep my cask(i think thats the correct word :)) for 30 days nothin else, they  dont tell me if i need to do any isometrical exercise all this days or if i need to put a cask with some motion range after that, they barely allowed me to do exercise for the rest of my body.(that i dind't make it). after second week i got to the gym and made some squats and lunges with my body weight, now after 20 days i do some stuff to upperbody aswell though i dont use my injured arm.am i doing wrong?
I dont know if u can understand any of these though if u do and can give an advice pls do so :D
Btw thx for all the help u give to everyone in here guys keep it that way.

Hi Trelos and welcome. I donīt think you will do any harm exerciseing the rest of your body. Just be very careful to not use the bicep of the injured arm. If I understood you correctly you are in a cast for one month, right? After that you might get it taken off and be put in a range of motion brace (ROM brace). What did your doctor say?

trelos:
Hey judas and ty for reply.
From the operation day the doctor has saw me only once and for about 30 seconds, he told that my arm was in good condition i ask him if i need to put this rom bracer and he told me (no i want to keep this palaiolithic hard cast for a month) even my wrist is in no motion in that thing.
Then nothin cause rom bracers are expencive thats what he told me since then i have spoken to a physio and he told to listen my doctor advice.
thing is when i had the op my arm was 49 points now i see it like the half of it all that time in no motion does good? or i need to do somethin about it.
i'm clueless as u can see :D
btw im 21 days with the hard cast.

I was in a hard cast for full 6 weeks! My wrist was also in the cast. When I got the cast off my wrist was VERY stiff. Thatīs the disadvantage of having the arm in a cast for so long, but thatīs what my doctor wanted. After the cast fianally came off I had a LOT of pysical therapy to get movement back in my wrist and elbow. Itīs normal that your arm gets smaller and smaller. I know itīs hard to see that happenning but thereīs nothing you can do about it. It will all come back, but it will probably take 8 to 12 months.

In case you havenīt read my recovery thread, have a look:
